LA28 Ticket Drop 2 Coming in August
LOS ANGELES (June 10, 2026) – On the heels of the most successful ticket launch in Olympic history, LA28 today announced that Drop 2, its second public Olympic ticket on-sale, will run August 10–20. The historic launch in April included an unprecedented locals presale that placed half a million $28 tickets — and 95% of all tickets priced under $100 — directly into the hands of Los Angeles and Oklahoma City area residents, delivering on LA28’s commitment to make the home Games accessible to the communities hosting them.
Drop 2 will offer tickets across all Olympic sports at a range of price points, subject to inventory availability. This will provide fans who were not selected during the first on-sale, did not register in time or who have not yet reached their ticket maximum, another opportunity to attend the Olympic Games. Registration for the LA28 Ticket Draw* remains open now through July 22 at Tickets.LA28.org.
In addition to ensuring that locals near venue cities had first pick of the most affordable seats, LA28 delivered for fans domestically and across the world, with over 4 million tickets claimed by fans across 85 countries, all 50 states and U.S. territories. With more than two years to go, these numbers signal immense global and local excitement for a Games that remain deeply rooted in its community.
“These Games belong to Los Angeles and to the world, and we look forward to welcoming fans everywhere to be part of all the incredible moments to come in 2028,” said Reynold Hoover, LA28 Chief Executive Officer. “The response from millions of fans makes one thing clear: the world is ready, and so are we.”
