February 28, 2024

With no weight classes yet qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris, Team USA will look to change it’s fortunes at the Pan Am Olympic Qualifier tournament in Mexico. The top 2 placers will ensure their country has a spot in the Olympic tournament this summer.

The qualification cycle begins with the Pan-American Qualifiers in Acapulco, Mexico from February 28 to March 1.  The final opportunity to earn a spot will be the World Olympic Qualifier which will be held in Istanbul, Turkiye from May 9-12.

The semi-final bouts will serve as the Paris Olympic qualification bouts. No repechage, bronze and gold-medal bouts will be held during these continental events.
