Halfway Home – Greco-Roman Trials Qualifier List Update

After failing to qualify any weights at the 2023 World Championships, Team USA needed to have a strong showing by the Greco-Roman squad at the 2024 Pan Am Olympic Games Qualifier. Stunning disappointments in the lighter weights were tempered by the success of the upper weights. Qualifying their weight class for the Paris Games – at 87 kg, Spencer Woods (U.S. Army WCAP), 97 kg, Alan Vera (New York AC), and 130 kg, Cohlton Schultz (Sunkist Kids). The remaining weights (60 kg GR, 67 kg GR, 77 kg) will have one final chance to qualify at the last chance tournament to be held in Istanbul, Turkey this May.
